Whole Body Training
While training, it is recommended that one knows how to perform the exercises correctly. Maintaining the right posture and
conducting the movements in the right manner are just some of the basics of
training. Every “gymer” should strive to understand, and aim to perfect this
art. However, research has shown that most people who attend gym sessions don't
understand the basics.
It is well understandable that most gym
visitors have specific targets to achieve. Some aim to "cut weight",
build muscle, trim their waistlines, reduce their tummies while others do it for health purposes. These
targets help drive the trainees into becoming what they want. However, most
people are misguided and tend to over-train particular body-parts and forget or
ignore other parts.
For body builders, it is important to gain
lean large muscle. To achieve these you need to train progressively with the
right weights and targeting every muscle in the body. It should be noted that bodybuilding
isn't just about building muscle, one should also have a strong cardiovascular
system; doing warm ups before resuming weight training is recommended.
For those who want to cut their tummy sizes, full body training is mandatory. It has been a habit, especially
for this group of “gymers”, that they tend to overdo Ab exercises ignoring
other body muscles. NOTE: over-training the Abs will not cut the
fats around the stomach or waist area; rather this will only build muscle below
the stomach fats making your stomach look bigger.
oooouuchh!!!!!!! you don't want
that.
Therefore, it is important to note,
performing ab exercises also requires balancing the exercises to tackle the
lower, upper, side and back muscles; the core muscles.
